About Us

 

Craig and Sally have been a fixture in St. Thomas for more than twenty years.    They first visited our island paradise in 1979.   Although  they departed after that initial 6 month swoon,  they did indeed forge definite plans to return — soon!  

 

The fact is,  they both were drawn here by the ocean, and for good reason. Craig grew up in Connecticut, right on Long Island Sound, and Sally’s family had spent most every summer on lovely Chesapeake Bay.    

 

Upon returning to the islands,  they opened Ferrari’s, a popular local restaurant. In short time  they made the place  their own. It was at Ferrari’s where Sally brought her famous culinary skills (nobody ever turned down a dinner invitation to  their house!) and marvelous imagination to a professional kitchen. Craig, on the other hand, does us all an immense favor by not cooking.   His skills are decidedly in the front of the house. In particular, his dedication to perfecting our wine list is almost an island legend.
